Engaging Activities

Learning Skills

To review what the learning skills are and how students might develop them, the students participate in activities to demonstrate them. Many students don't even understand what the learning skills are and some of the things they can do to be more successful in school. These activities should lead to class discussion with sharing ideas and/or self-assessment by the student.
These activities could be done at the beginning of the semester or at mid-term for students to assess their learning skills and set goals to improve them. Students should re-evaluate if they met their goals later in the semester.
